NewsBeyonc? sued by Des'ree over songBeyonc? is being sued by singer Des'ree following allegations that she did not get permission from Des'ree to cover a song called 'I'm Kissing You'. TMZ says the suit, which was filed yesterday in New York, claims that a deal to use the song did not come to fruition, but Beyonc? went ahead and re-recorded the song and made a video. Des'ree, who is most famous for her 1994 hit 'You Gotta Be' is seeking to put a stop to the distribution of the song, video and Beyonc? solo album 'B'Day- Deluxe Edition' on which the song appears and is called 'Still In Love (Kissing You)' The Cribs discuss controversial Glastonbury show The Cribs have discussed their controversial performance at Glastonbury. As previously reported the band also courted some controversy during their performance criticising both the festival's climate campaign and the other bands on the bill. Before closer 'The Wrong Way To Be' bassist Ryan Jarman sarcastically told the crowd: "They want us to speak out about global warming but the biggest problem is the attitude of some indie bands. Isn't that a bigger problem?" However, speaking to NME.COM Ryan Jarman called the performance a: "victory show". NME.COM was speaking exclusively to the band backstage at Glastonbury 2007 festival. |
